Follow the Yogi
A community practice offered to students who have developed a regular yoga practice for at least 6 months. Rowan will lead us in a powerful vinyasa flow practice. No verbal cues or hands on adjustments will be given. This class will be $10.00.
Kids Yoga-Ages 6-12 Years
This energetic class explores yoga poses, breathing exercises and relaxation techniques while conveying lessons in self-expression, body image, social skills and positive thinking. Partner poses and cooperative yoga games inspire positive peer interactions and loads of fun for kids. Music and other art forms are also used to inspire and expand creative expression.
Long Slow Deep 90 Minutes
The name says it all. This practice will be conducted in a heated environment to compliment the opening of muscles and connective tissue and to detoxify the body. Poses will be held for longer periods of time. This offers the experienced student the opportunity to explore movement and the transitions in between to find their ideal physical alignment. Strengthening of the body occurs though isometric muscular contraction. This class also creates an environment of stillness conducive to calming the mind and senses with deep meditative breath.
Moderate Vinyasa 75 Minutes
For those of us who want a vinyasa practice that is less vigorous than powerful flow, but offers the same dynamic flowing sequences. A variety of poses are explored with the goal of the class to balance breath with movement, strength with flexibility, challenge with ease and your practice on the mat with your life off the mat. Modifications for poses will be offered for newer students and embellishments will be offered for those who are more experienced and want to go deeper.
Power Challenge Vinyasa 75 min
Powerful Flow is not for beginning students. It is a vigorous and dynamic flowing movement of yogic sequences. Powerful flow heats the body and takes you to your edge. It adds another dimension of cross training to perfectly balance your workout with any other competitive sport such as running, cycling, strength training, or skiing. Yoga strengthens, stretches and lengthens the muscles preventing injury from constant overuse. Yoga teaches body awareness in space and engages muscle groups using isometric muscular contraction along with deep breath to provide you with skills necessary to increase your ability to do things you never thought possible. The end of each class offers a relaxation period to soften the energy of the mind, body and spirit from the inside out.
R&R Yoga (Relax & Restore Yoga)
A slower, gentler yoga class for any and every body, R&R classes include slow, gentle relaxation flow, followed by restorative and therapeutic yoga poses. In restorative yoga poses, yoga does the work through use of props and breath. Comfortable postures are explored for longer periods of time than in other style classes, allowing the body to open and release. R&R classes are excellent for stress management, creating a nurturing environment for healing, relaxation, and transformation to occur. Restorative yoga, also called "active relaxation," has been found to reduce stress, manage medical treatment side effects, relieve pain, and promote health and peace of mind. Treat yourself to some R&R!

This class is open to all levels whether you already have a weight training program or are just starting out. This class has the added benefit of reducing stress and calming your mind.
