Cost of Workshop: $35 per day. $90 for 3 da package. The workshop is open to all yoga teachers and to students who have been practicing for at least one year.
Marni invites you to step off your mat to learn and understand the postures, the body’s alignment and the techniques of great physical enhancements! This workshop is designed to help you deepen your practice as well as offer new or experienced teachers an environment to practice and perfect hands on assists.
During the workshop, you will be jumping right in; expect to partner up and benefit from both giving and receiving assists, as you learn how different assists feel in your own body. Marni will teach you the basic anatomy of the body and principles of alignment that will allow you to assist any pose, even when they may be new to you. You will learn how to assist while keeping your own alignment safe as well as the method of getting in and out of a great assist that will have a lasting effect on the students yoga experience!
Poses we will learn to assist: Tadasana, Uttanasana, Chair pose, Warrior 1 & 2, Extended Angle, Triangle, Standing Twists, Seated Twists, Pigeon, Ankel to knee (double pigeon), paschimottansana, Locust, Up Dog, Cobra, Bridge, Wheel, Drop Back to Wheel & stand up, Camel, Dancing Shiva, Candy Cane (1/2 moon blind grab), Forearm stand, Handstand, Frog, Hero, Anjaneasana, Hanumanasana, Flip Dog to Wheel, crow, flying crow, child's pose and more!!!

Learn how to give yourself the gift of simply Being Vs Doing and find the wisdom you seek from deep within.
Shiatsu Partner Massage Workshop
Sept 18th from 12:30- 3:30 PM.
Cost is $40 per person and $75 per couple.
Learn the ancient art of Japanese massage and discover new ways to help your loved ones be stress free and energized both in mind and body. In turn, they will also learn how to work on you so that mutual massage is made easy and effective. Shiatsu means "finger pressure" which uses the practice of acupressure. The feet, elbows and knees are also used to apply deeper pressure. Shiatsu incorporates passive stretching and joint movements to active muscle release, vital energy and deep relaxation. Shiatsu works by restoring the proper flow of energy.

It is not necessary to bring a partner. Single attendees will be "partnered up" or if lucky, will be the "guinea pig."
Wear loose, comfortable clothing and bring a pillow and blanket.
Pre-registration is suggested. Space is limited!
